Abstract

With the ever increasing phenomena of E-commerce, people are saving their time and money by shopping online rather than going to the brick and mortar shops. As there are various factors that affects online purchase such as word of mouth, advertisements and the overall experience of going through the website, we made the questions such that most important factors could be known. The customer goes through different phases before buying from different E-commerce websites from having perception about different elements of the websites to the post purchase behavior. The current empirical study makes an attempt to take an insight into ecommerce buying behavior with four phases, perception, buying decision, post purchase behavior and finally building loyalty towards these websites. The findings were based upon the primary data collected from 86 respondents who are mostly students and this data was later analyzed using the various analytical tools to get the conclusion.
