MSMEs and Government Initiatives: Recent Outlook of Indian Economy

MSMEs sector has proved as a highly vivid and productive sector of the Indian economy. MSMEs are accounted to play an imperative role in imparting large employment opportunities at comparatively lower capital cost than large industries. Micro Small and Medium Enterprises are credited for the industrialization of rural India, thereby, dwindling regional disparities. This paper is an attempt to list out recent initiatives taken by current government (NDA) to infuse viability and technical advancement in the MSMEs. Throughout the study it was found that many initiatives have been launched by the current government and many more are in queue to be launched pretty soon.
