Factors affecting satisfaction of businesses about training quality at vietnamese universities

The development and prosperity of a nation is now depending directly on the size and quality of higher education. Most low-income countries and developing countries are now facing a lot of risks, including the risk of further lagging to higher education compared with developed countries. This responsibility has placed on the shoulders of the strategic planners of higher education. Vietnamese higher education must actually contribute to the goal of bringing Vietnam into integrating the world. The study results aim at analyzing the factors affecting satisfaction of businesses about training quality at Vietnamese universities towards international integration trend. 225 employers, managers and professionals working in enterprises in export processing zones and industrial parks in the city and at a seminar on "Connecting training at university with practices at businesses closely" in Ho Chi Minh City have recently been surveyed. The study results show that factors affecting satisfaction of businesses about training quality at Vietnamese universities towards international integration trend affected by the following 05 key elements: (1) professional skills, (2) integration ability, (3) the content of training programs, (4) professional knowledge, and (5) professional attitude. Based on study results, solutions to improve satisfaction of businesses of businesses about training quality at Vietnamese universities are proposed in the future.
