Abstract

Employee engagement has emerged as a hot topic of organizations in recent years. The term employee engagement became viral not just because employees report to work regularly but also they are passionate about their work and organization. Positive organizational culture increases level of commitment and engage employees to perform their work with positive attitude. Different conceptual and empirical works have proved employee engagement is directly related to organizational performance and organizational outcomes. This paper makes an attempt to study the review of literature on employee engagement concept and different dimensions driving engagement and outcomes. This study can be used to provide an overview and reference on some of the research work undertaken in the area of employee engagement.
