Abstract

In Our Country; micro and small scale sector faces many difficulties to make high position in the economy. These are; shortage of financial support, lack of infrastructure, lack of illiteracy and many technological shortages etc. which create barriers in the path of success for this sector. Our country has large population. This population contributes largely to our nation GDP. Mostly population depends upon the small business. So; the need arise to grow this section. Govt. of India launched MUDRA Yojana to fulfill the need for the micro and small sector. MUDRA stands for Micro Units Development and Refinance Agency and started on 8th April, 2015. The main theme of this scheme is Fund the Unfunded. This paper is an attempt to understand about MUDRA Yojana, the loan vehicle offered and also analysis the performance in the state of Haryana. For this purpose secondary source has been used.
