The purpose of this paper is to enumerate the effectiveness of communication as a tool to resolve conflicts and also to bring out the fact that poor communication or lack of communication can prove fatal for any organization. To make this point, historical evidences have been analyzed and the element of communication measured. A cursory glance in each case itself brought out the fact that a timely intervention through communication would have retrieved the situation in worst of these cases. The case based study has lifted some of the recent cases of conflict in industries like garment, automobile and aviation.
