Abstract

The study determined the extend of provision of science and laboratory facilities in secondary schools in Udenu L.G.A in Enugu State. One research question and one hypothesis guided the study. The research design was descriptive survey. The sample was 69 respondents-14 principals and 55 science teachers. Questionnaire was used for data collection. The research question was answered using mean and standard deviation. The hypothesis was tested at 0.05 level of significance using t-test. The finding shows that many secondary schools have separate physics, chemistry and biology laboratories. None of the secondary schools had computer laboratories. All the science laboratories are not well equipped. There is no significance difference between the mean scores of principals and teachers on the extent of provision of science laboratories in secondary schools in Udenu LGA.
