Abstract

Organizational culture as the pattern of shared values and beliefs that help individuals understand organizational functioning and thus provide them norms for behaviour in the organization. An attempt has been to develop a scale comprising of 25 items to represent organizational culture. The scale was tested for its reliability. It was administered to 302 HR executives and it was seen that most of the HR practices do play a significant role in promotion of good culture. The found there not much association between various demographics like gender, age, experience and designation of respondents and various dimensions of organizational culture.
