Constructivism is a paradigm which posits learning as an active knowledgeconstructive process.This learning approach is highly practiced and promotedin modern educational sphere in order to make learning teaching process meaningful and effective. Therefore, the main aim of the author of this paper was to discuss the constructiveleaning approaches practiced in two ancient Asian countries: China and Sri Lanka. Here, research works of other scholars on constructive learning have been examined as the main source of collecting data. Moreover, the author has organizedresearch findingsin philosophical point of view in order to fill the gap and full fill the the need of studying constructive learning approaches from the perspectives of China and Sri Lanka.
