Abstract

Hemicriconemoides aberrans sp. n. and H. conicaudatus sp. n. collected from Assam from soil around roots of areca nut and peach respectively are described with the following characters. H. aberrans is distinctive by having cuticular sheath extending anteriorly beyond lip region while H. conicaudatu by L=0.430–0.525 mm; stylet=50–58 μm; R=103–122; Rv-8-9; V=90–93; tail conoid, gradually narrowing to a pointed tip.
