The morphometries of larval stages and the effect of age were evaluated on Pratylenchus brachyurus and P. zeae. There was no dimensional overlap and an increase of temperature from 25°C to 30°C did not sigmficanty change the morphometries of larval stages and eggs. P. zeae from the same inoculum source and host varied widely in size and old females were much larger with distinctly longer stylet than younger ones.
