Multiplication of Rotylenchulus remformis on susccptible and resistant cultivars of cowpea under different inoculum levels hall been investigated. The multiplication rate was found to be density dependent, with maximum numbers and rate respectively at highest (10,000) and lowest inoculum levels (100). Between the two cowpea varieties, C-152 (resistant) exhibited significantly reduced multiplication, in comparison to the susceptible Pusa Do Phasli within the comparative time period of 23 days.
