Abstract

Biology and life history of Heterotylenchus xanthomelas sp. n. (Nematoda: Allantonematidae, parasitising the pasture fly, Musca xanthomelas Wiedemann (Muscidae; Diptera) is described. Details of morphology, biology, seasonal incidence, damage caused to the host are given.
