Moisture stress given to pea crop influenced the growth of nematode population. Stress at one to three stages for two weeks during a period of 90 days decreased the growth of Tylenchorhynchus vulgaris and T. mashhoodi populations but was favourable to the multiplication of ROlylenchulus reniformis population density. Hatching of R. reniformis eggs was poor at suction of 3.8–9.0 bars than at below 1.0 bar.
