Spores of Pasteuria penetrans attached more readily to the root-knot nematode, Meloidogyne incognita at 25°c and 30°C than at IS0, 20° and 35°C as revealed by in vitro studies. There was a positive correlation between number of spores attached per juvenile and the period of exposure of nematodes to the bacterial spores.
