The avoidable yield losses in tomato due to Meloidogyne incognita (INP 385 J2/250 g soil) were 71.9 per cent by using carbofuran @ 3kg a.i./ha. However, at other site having Meloidogyne javanica infestation, the per cent avoidable losses in yields of tomato, brinjal and okra were 47.3, 41.8 and 29.9 per cent respectively.
