During analysis of samples collected from fields of rice from Punjab, two new species belonging to genus Basiria Siddiqi, 1959 were. observed which have been described hereunder. The specimens were killed and fixed in hot 4 per cent formalin solution and then processed toglycerine alcohol solution by slow method and mounted in glycerine for stydy purposes.
