A new species of mermithid nematode Romanomermis manjeerensis parasitizing Anopheles sp. mosquito tiom Manjeera reservoir of Andhra Pradesh has been described and compared with other species of Romanomermis. Natural infection by this nematode of morquitoes in the reservoir was found to be about 17% in the month of October.
