Abstract

A significant decrease in germination and seedling emergence of cauliflower was recorded at 500 nematodes/kg soil which further decreased with increase in inoculum level. Seed germination and seedling emergence were more in unsterilized soil than in sterilized soil. Plant growth characters were adversely affected with an increase in the level of inoculum from 50 to 10000 jueniles/kg soil. Significant reduction in growth characters could be noticed at and above the level of 500 nematodes/kg soil.
