Abstract

Soil application of carbofuran 3G @ 3 kg a.i/ha alone and combined treatment of Pseudomonas fluorescens (pf-l) as seed treatment and neem cake as soil application were effective in the management of the disease complex involving Heterodera cajani and Macrophomina phaseolina. Combined treatments of P. fluorescens as seed treatment and neem cake as soil application and Trichoderma viride as seed treatment and neem cake as soil application has resulted in lowest root rot incidence of 11.1 and 22.2 per cent respectively with significant increase in the germination per cent, plant growth and pod yield.
