Bio-Management of Root-Knot Nematode, Meloidogyne incognita on Coleus forskohlii Briq
Abstract
Pot culture experiments were carried out under glasshouse condition for the evaluation of biocontrol agents against management of Meloidogyne incognita in Coleus forskohlii. Soil application of Pseudomonas fluorescens at the rate of 2.5 kg/ha showed increased plant growth and reduced root knot nematode population both in soil and root. Soil application of Trichoderma viride at the rate of 2.5 kg/ha recorded increased plant growth and reduced nematode population compared to control followed by P. fluorescens.
