Abstract

Application of jatropha, neem and castor oil cakes significantly increased the plant growth and decreased the host infestation by root-knot nematode, Meloidogyne incognita over control. Among the oil cakes jatropha and neem were proved to be the best. The water soluble fractions of jatropha deoiled cake at 10% concentration reduced the egg hatching and increased the juvenile mortality to the tune of 44.07 and 49.33%, respectively after 48h of incubation.
