Investigation on the effect of inorganic supplements such as urea and potassium chloride (100, 200 ppm), super phosphate, zinc sulphate and calcium chloride (50, 100 ppm) on the activity of Trichoderma viride and kalisena (a commercial formulation of Aspergillus niger) against root-knot nematode Meloidogyne incognita infecting okra was undertaken in the glass house. Zinc and Potash @ 50 ppm reduced number of galls significantly with T. viride while zinc and calcium at low dose and phosphorus @100 ppm with kalisena, was effective in reducing the root-knot nematode galls. Potassium and zinc at low dose reduced number of galls significantly with T. viride while zinc and calcium recorded minimum number of galls in presence of kalisena on okra infected with M incognita. Plant growth was observed to be best with NPK with T. viride while zinc showed better pant growth in presence of kalisena.
