Abstract

Survey of reniform nematodes associated with cultivated crops, carried out in 37 localities of Udaipur (Rajasthan), revealed that out of 25 crops, the reniform nematode was associated with all the crops in all the localities. Castor, brinjal, tomato, chillies and okra were found more susceptible to R. reniformis in some localities while as low to moderate susceptibility was found on the crops viz. mustard, barley, onion and wheat in all the localities. Some crops viz. Okra, cowpea, onion, cucumber, bittergourd, bottlegourd, pumpkin etc. were found non-susceptible to reniform nematodes in a few localities.
