Abstract

All the fungal and bacterial bioagents significantly decreased galls, egg masses and nematode population both in the soil and roots. Amongst the treatments VAM + carbofuran 3G combination found to be best in increasing plant growth characters and yield and decreasing the number of galls and egg masses followed by Trichoderma harzianum + carbofuran 3G. However, treatment with carbofuran 3G alone was found to be more effective in suppressing nematode population in soil as well as in roots. All the individual treatments were statistically at par in terms of yield.
