A field study was conducted to evaluate the efficacy of Pasteuria penetrans, Neemark 0.03 EC and Carbofuran 3G individually, in the nursery for the management of Meloidogyne incognita infesting tomato cv. Pusa Ruby. Carbofuran 3G @ 16.6 g/m2 significantly reduced the soil nematode population in the nursery and recorded better germination percentage compared to all other treatments. However, P. penetrans @ 1 x 109 spores/m2 was found to be effective in reducing nematode population in the main field by 72.3% over inoculated check. Besides, improved plant growth and nutritional status of fruits and plants were observed with highest yield of 68 q/ha compared to inoculated check (33.25/ha).
