Abstract

Two diplogastrid nematode species, Acrostichus nudicapitatus Steiner, 1914 and Butlerius micans Pillai and Taylor, 1968 are being reported for the first time from the country. A list of 48 species of nematodes belonging to 12 orders from the Loktak Lake, at Ramsar site in Manipur, India is provided.
