In the present study, in situ hybridization of FMRF amide-like peptide mi-flp-12 gene was done in pre-parasitic juveniles of Meloidogyne incognita. In situ hybridization revealed the expression of mi-flp-12 in cells associated with the ventral and retro vesicular ganglia of the central nervous system. These studies can help in the identification of genes associated with chemo sensation in plants.
