Abstract

Experiment was laid out using different treatments of biocontrol agents (Trichoderma asperellum (Th-14), Pseudomonas flourescens (Psf-173), PBAT 3 (consortium of Th14 & Psf173) and Purpureocillium lilacinum (commercial), with the combination of bio fumigation (Brassica juncea & Raphanus sativus). Nematicide carbofuran was also used, as a chemical check for bio-intensive management of Meloidogyne enterolobii, infecting tomato. All the treatments showed positive effect on the growth parameters of tomato plants. Combination of PBAT3+Biofumigation (mustard) resulted in maximum fresh root (7.38g) and shoot weight (36.07g), with minimum number of root galls (18.33galls per root system), as compared to the combination of other treatments.
