The mainstay of this work is to compare the surface roughness of Inconel 600 material by grinding process using several samples of cutting fluid such as Mineral oil, SAE 20W40 oil and mixture of SAE 20W40 oil with Single Wall Carbon Nano Tube (SWCNT). Carbon nano tubes have been of great interest, both from a fundamental point of view and for future application. The most eye catching features of these structures are their mechanical, optical and chemical characteristics, which open a way to future application. The Single Wall Carbon Nano Tube is mixed in specific ratio with the SAE 20W40 lubricant oil and the properties are inspected and it is used to enhance the Surface characteristics of the Inconel600 material by Surface Grinding process. Surface Roughness was tested using the TR200 Surface Roughness Meter. The Surface Roughness value of samples ground with Mineral oil, SAE 20W40 oil, SAE 20W40 oil + SWCNT are compared. Surface Roughness is improved to Nano level by the use of Singlw wall carbon nano tubes.
