Abstract

The aim of the present work is to prepare single-phase Ba2Bi4Ti5O18 fine powders from simple salts by chemical methods, namely co-precipitation and citrate gel techniques. The XRD pattern for both the materials and the particle size measurement using Scherrer equation on the pure single or Aurivillius phase were carried out. The dielectric constants, measured in the frequency range 20Hz – 800kHz, of the sample prepared by both the methods are reported.
