Terminal illness is an advance form of disease, which is life threatening and incurable such as cancer. Globally, the burden of terminal illness is increasing day by day, and these patients suffer from severe physical and psychological health issues¹. Palliative care foster quality of life of the patient suffering from terminal or chronic illness. Nurses’ have a pivotal role in providing palliative care, as they are usually in constant touch with patients and their relatives. They provide physiological, psychological, religious and cultural sensitive support to dying patient.
