A non experimental descriptive survey design was used to assess the knowledge of people towards Swach Bharat Swastha Bharat Abhiyan. Study was conducted among the people age between 18–70 years from selected rural area of Meerut district. Sample size for this study was 100 sample from selected rural and participant was selected by a non –probability convenient sampling technique. Self structured questionnaire was prepared with five demographic variables such as age, sex, education and occupation of people and source of information. People answered questionnaire on Swach Bharat Swastha Bharat Abhiyan in india. Their responds were tabulated, organized, analyzed and interpreted by using descriptive and inferential statics based on the objectives of the study. The result shows 4 (4%) people having adequate knowledge 71 (71%) people were having moderate knowledge and 25 (25%) people were have inadequate knowledge. There is significant correlation between knowledge and hygienic practices. Mass awareness programmes are required for people residing in rural community regarding swach bharat swasth bharat abhiyan.
