The aim of the present study was to assess the knowledge regarding Prevention Of Urinary Tract Infection among 52 adolescents girls In Zilla Parishad Unnatha Patashala, Tirupathi. In pre-test knowledge scores of students is Mean and variance is 11.75 and 17.25. in post-test knowledge score of students is Mean and variance is 18.71154 and 17.54. The comparison of pre-test and post-test parameters showed significant improvement of knowledge regarding prevention of urinary tract infection. Paired ‘z’ value in pre-test and post test on knowledge of students is 8.51098, which is significant at 0.05 level it shows the effect of structured teaching programme. For comparing ‘z’ calculative and ‘z’ table value the ‘z’ calculative less than ‘z’ table at 5% level of significance. Hence the formulated hypothesis was accepted There was no significant association of knowledge with demographic variables.
