Comparison of different stability models for twenty genotypes under random environmental conditions of Kashmir valley in terms of their relative performance for yield stability produced uniform information and ranked the genotypes without any major disagreement. Comparison for green fodder yield (q ha−1) revealed stability of EC-99170 as confirmed by relationship of linear regression coefficient (bi) and non-linear deviation from regression (S2di) of Eberhart and Russell model with linear response (O2i), deviation from linear response (λi) of Tai, stability variance (O2i) of Shukla and Ecovalence value of Wricke. Whereas, for dry fodder yield stability of only two genotypes, EC-96848 and EC-99170 was confirmed Four stability models confirmed the stability of three genotypes, EC-3230, EC-35189 and Sabzaar for seed yield EC-99170 was identified as stable variety for fodder yield under valley conditions.
