Abstract

Herlyn-Wener-Wunderlich Syndrome is a rare congenital mullerian anomaly. It consists of uterus didelphys, obstructed hemivagina, and ipsilateral renal agenesis. It is also called OHVIRA (Obstructed Hemivagina with Ipsilateral Renal Agenesis) Syndrome. Few case reports are mentioned earlier which have conservatively managed the case with the resection of vaginal septum. Failure of this procedure in our case led us to do an extensive abdominal surgery involving resection of uterine septum followed by unification of both uterine horns.
