Abstract

Teeth add significantly to the beauty of the countenance and are indispensable to a correct enunciation of speech sounds. It has been a routine practice from ancient times to replace natural teeth with artificial ones when they are lost by accident or disease. A variety of materials for fabrication of artificial teeth in various shapes and sizes have been tried for giving the best of function and esthetics to the patient. This article gives an insight into the journey of Denture Teeth from primitive forms till the recent times.
