Abstract

The strength of the provisional restorative material is one of the neglected aspect while providing the temporary restoration especially, for the posterior teeth. The palient may be away from the clinic for a longer period of time because of the some or the other reasons. So, unlil the permanent restoration is not luted in the patient mouth, the temporary restoration plays an important role in the masticatory function. So, the physical properties of the materials are taken into considerations extended period of time.
