Abstract

The restoration of severely mutilated anterior teeth in children is a challenge for a pediatric dentist because of least manageable age group. The teeth which need extraction are followed by difierent types of fixed appliances. The utilization of natural crowns inslead of acrylic teeth on a fixed appliance is of psychological benefit to the patient and can be better accepted because of their shape, size, and color. Cost effectiveness is certainly a positive attribute but patient or parent acceptance is a big issue. Presented herewith is a clinical case report where in natural primary teeth are used as an interim fixed prosthesis in primary dentition.
