Eagle syndrome – A case report

Eagle syndrome, also known as elongated styloid process, is a condition that may be the source of craniofacial and cervical pain. It is infrequentely reported but is probably more common than generally considered. The symptomes related to Eagle‘s Syndrome can be confused with those attributed to a wide varity of facial neuralgia and or oral, dental and TMJ diseases. In this paper A male patient of age 32 years came to the department of Oral Medicine, Diagnosis and Maxillofacial Radiology, D.J College of Dental Sciences and Research, Modinagar (U.P). Having chief complaint of pain in left region of face which radiates to the head since 7 months. After radiographic investigation this case is considered as a case of Eagle Syndrome because of increase in the size of styloid process.
