Abstract

Burning mouth syndrome (BMS) is a fairly common condition characterized by a burning sensation of the oral mucosa in the absence of mucosal abnormality. Various local, systemic and psychological factors are associated with BMS, but its aetiology is not fully understood. Various researches have been accomplished, exploring this complex condition. The aim of this review is create cognizance for this condition.
