Abstract

The PRF membrane had excellent handling characteristics and biological acceptance. The use of the PRF membrane and orthodontic button was not associated with any local or systemic adverse reaction or clinically detectable allergic reaction. The PRF membrane could be effectively used in the treatment of human grade II furcation defects giving satisfactory results. Orthodontic button application may be an added advantage in stabilizing coronal position of flap; however, further research is needed in this regard. This article gives us idea regarding use of orthodontic button in treatment of Grade II furcation defect.
