Squamous cell carcinoma is the most common malignant neoplasm of the Oral Cavity, usually affecting individuals over 50 years of age. This report describes a case of squamous cell carcinoma, involving the vestibular mucosa of 61-year-old male patient, with deleterious habits usually associated with oral cancer. This report is to emphasize that even in smooth-surfaced rapid-growing oral lesions, SCC should be considered in differential diagnosis and this needs a careful examination and management by both medical and dental practitioners.
