Prevalence of Superstitions in Indian Society in 21^st Century

Most superstition from the past have been proven by science as unnecessary, ineffective or just plain silly but are still practiced by normal intelligent people today. Every country has its own localized take on superstitions. In this research, researcher reviews on prevalence of superstitions in Indian society in 21^st century. There is much different kind of researches in the field of superstition and had different concepts related to the superstition. In this research, researchers separate the beliefs regarding superstitious activities into three categories i.e. common superstitious activities; death related superstitious activities and pregnancy and new-born related superstitious activities.
