Interpretive exercises are effective tools for the evaluation of higher learning outcomes. The present study applies this concept into one of the least explored areas in nursing research. An interpretive exercise session was conducted to identify its applicability to teach the students the interpretation of radio-diagnostic images. It was found that the students’ ability to interpret the radio-diagnostic images was improved through the interpretive exercise session. There was a significant improvement in the post-test interpretive ability scores of the students who were exposed to the session. It was encouraging to see that the students were interested in learning the radio-diagnostic images.
