Abstract

Dysmennorhoea is a common menstrual problem affecting the women and disrupting their work.About 40–70% of women of reproductive age suffers with dysmenorrhoea and is associated with significant psychological, physical, behavioural and social distress. The present study aimed to find prevalence of dysmenorrhea among married and unmarried women, and to determine factors associated with dysmenorrhea.
