Abstract

This study focused on perceptions of one hundred eight (108) freshmen college students of Misurata University on nursing education for the months of December 2013 and January 2014. A descriptive non-experimental research design was employed and a self-made questionnaire was used to gather needed data after reliability test done (rK-R = 0.9107). The purpose of this endeavor is to come up with holistic view on nursing education as a key for an effective decision making in building the niche of nursing profession or vocation in Libya as partner in the rendition and management of health care services. Essential findings which is critical to consider and conclusions were made as the basis in coming up with recommendations that are necessary for the future of nursing education in Libya.
