Abstract

• To assess the knowledge regarding nosocomial infection among second year G N M students.

50 second year GNM Nursing Students were selected by non-probability purposive sampling technique. The knowledge regarding Nosocomial infections by using the structured knowledge questionnaire. A single pre test approach was used. Data was analyzed by descriptive statistics.

The finding of study reveals that majority of the 30(60)% had an average knowledge, while 12(24%) had good and 8(16%) had poor knowledge about nosocomial infection.
