Abstract

Trauma to the permanent teeth is rather common event among schoolchildren. 92% of these traumas result in facture of the crown portion of the tooth. It not only affects the aesthetics but also has a psychological impact on the child's mind. Restoration of fractured segments of such teeth is a challenge because it requires precision to match the color and form of the natural tooth. Composite build up and reattachment are two most accepted approaches to treat such traumas. This paper presents a report of two cases in both these approaches are used for treatment of anterior tooth fractures.
