Denture adhesives improve mastication, retention, stability, incisal biting force and impart comfort to denture patients. While professionals agree adhesives should not be used as substitute for adequately constructed prosthesis however a number of patients with varying degree of well fitting denture rely on and benefits from use of denture adhesives thus profession should have open mind towards their use.
